PROFILE SOUGHT

Experienced front end developer with interactive infographics, data visualization and dashboard portfolio desired utilizing skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Creative individual desired with a thirst for digital and UX interaction having previous agency experience. You will also have a strong handle on dealing with raw data, making sense of large amounts of disparate information, or statistical analysis.



RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for planning, executing, testing and optimizing dev. builds from concept to superior solution.
- Work hand in hand with our production team to create mock ups and prototypes for various data driven visual solutions and then follow up that design work by creating high performing and scalable implementations that take into account customization and the ability to easily embed third parties widgets.
– Support on client proposals, ideation, tenders and pitches.
– Ability to communicate business intelligence needs and ideas to external clients and internal team.



SKILLS / MUST HAVES…

3 years min. experience (1 year directly within an agency).
HTML, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript Infographic frameworks: ( D3js, Protovis, processing.js, polymaps, flare.js, Raphael.js), recline and SQL.
Full CSS suite expertise a must, considerable experience of PHP development (no frameworks) will strengthen applications.
Demonstrated experience working with complex data sets in Excel/XML.
Experience building interactive dashboards from numerous data sources.
Clear understanding of data visualization principles (Tufte etc).
Clear understanding of usability, accessibility across a range of digital platforms.
Personable, positive, flexible, reliable & self motivated.
A vast portfolio showing a range of concepts and executions, proof of being at the forefront of digital tech: by way of work examples.



ADVANTAGEOUS

Experience integrating with third party API’s, Mobile dev experience, Net, Node, After Effects, Flash, Ruby.



Salary – dependent on experience.
