Virginia's Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) seeks to hire a highly analytical and creative individual to work as the agency’s information graphics specialist. The primary function of this position will be to work with policy analysts to develop graphics that effectively communicate research findings and key messages to the Virginia General Assembly, stakeholders, and the public.
Candidates must have information design experience, preferably related to public policy. Candidates must demonstrate expertise with Illustrator, including variable data graphing functions, and with InDesign, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Candidates must have a strong conceptual ability and analytical skills to transform complex data into clear and concise tables, maps, and other visualizations for policy makers.
