Another good one from Healthbolt. Color coded by class, and ranked by overall harm to the human body.

What do you mean by "dangerous"? There has never been a human fatality from cannabis. The LD50 value for rats by inhalation of THC (the active compound in cannabis) is 42 mg/kg of body weight. The estimate of Cannabis's LD50 for humans (New England Journal of Medicine, 1997) indicates that the impossible dosage of 1500 pounds (680 kilograms) of Cannabis would have to be smoked within 15 minutes to reach the LD50 rate! This estimate is supported by studies which indicate that the effective dose of THC is at least 1000 times lower than the estimated lethal dose (i.e. a "safety ratio" of 1000:1).
