Family Movement Map

Cool infographic project on Flickr, this map of the living room tracks the movements of a family over the course of only one hour on Christmas Day in 2006. Posted on Flickr by The Bumblebee.

Thanks Oliver for sending me the link.

Glad you liked the image.. Delighted there's been some interest..

It was a little test that I did a while back when I had a captive audience (my kids) at Christmas. I became very interested in movements and 'psychogeography'.. I'm finishing a Masters Degree at Coventry University in the UK looking into that area at present too.. The experiment did cost me deep in the pocket in terms of chocolate and catfood though! :-)

It's a neat project, and I think it's a great demonstration of motion tracking. It has implications of different uses for offices, airports, stores, malls, etc.
