How to Have the Perfect Workday

How to Have the Perfect Workday infographic

How do you manage your time? The How to Have the Perfect Workday infographic designed by Alissa Scheller for The Huffington Post tries to map out the perfect schedule to maximize your productivity.

The good news is that there are plenty of little things you can do to improve both your productivity and your happiness if you feel stuck at your desk all day.

One simple trick is to structure your time better — which includes taking more breaks. In fact, the highest performers work for 52 minutes consecutively before taking a 17-minute break, according to a recent experiment conducted by the productivity app DeskTime.

Check out HuffPost’s perfect workday below:

The doughnut chart is easily understood by readers as visualizing the complete day, and this design tells this one story in the visualization very well. Nicely done.

Love the design but the concept is not realistic. This is an example of a perfect work day only if you are single and live with your parents or have someone on the side to do the EVERYTHING ELSE parts of your life. The rest of us need an extra 4 hrs to our day to include being on the road to+fro to office/studio and schools/activities, shopping, cooking, cleaning, kids homework, paying bills, repairs etc. etc. It would be interesting to see a perfect work day info graphic for the rest of us :)

I agree with Constantina, plus there is nowhere for commuting. I have a 50 minute drive each way to work, so there goes my exercising and happy hour :-)

Am I missing something here or what ? From leaving the office to getting to bed is something less then 4 hours. Whats with old good 8-8-8 hours, sleep-work-relax.
Creating charts like this you actually help "new order" to create a false image of happy people.
There is nothing perfect here, except if you are a robot.
