The Evolution of Technology Company Logos

The Evolution of Technology Company Logos infographic

Logos are very important for a company's image, it needs to be simple and memorable. The Evolution of Technology Company Logos infographic from Vizion Online shows a few companies that have very recognizable logos. As you can see, even the professionals tweak their logos often to get the desired look and feel.

Here we have a good looking infographic that we have designed providing information about how technology company logos have evolved over the years. Check out logo evolution for companies such as Amazon, AT&T, Canon, Dell and more by viewing this logo design piece.

We hope that you enjoy this tech company logo infographic and please share it out with your friends on social media or feel free to publish it on your blog or website.

Thanks to the Picture Superiority Effect, people at more likely to remember the company logo than the company name. I talk about this in Chapter 1 of the Cool Infographics book, called the Science of Infographics. You can download an excerpt of that chapter for free HERE!

An error in the explanation for the Apple logo got me thinking: how do we go about updating infographics? Unlike blog posts that have a web address, infographics tend to be images that get copied as a whole, without the opportunity for authors to update them.

In this case, the creators' website doesn't even allow comments. How can you have a proper, concentrated discussion about a graphic when there is no canonical web location for it? Should there be?

Thanks Matthias! I love your question, and that's one reason I curate posts about infographics here with comments. I'm going to repost your questions in the Cool Infographics discussion group on LinkedIN, and anyone is also welcome to join the discussion there: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/6595485

Also, to clarify, the error in the Tech Company Logos infographic above is that Apple's original logo was a tribute to Sir Issac Newton, not Alan Turing.

The evolution of company logos is really interesting. I love stuff like this, I liked the 2001 - 2007 apple logo and the 1998 -2000 ones.
